With the start of summer comes trips to the beaches, beach bags and beach reads.
I have always loved to read. In high school, I worked at the local public library so I have read a plethora of books that were available at my fingertips. Although I had no idea, as a high school student, I had way more time to read than I do now with so much more going on.
Through books, we are able to learn and explore, be a princess or a cowgirl, travel to the future or take a step back into the past. These are the reasons why I love reading.
My reading time as a busy mother is limited. I am embarrassed to say that I have not been reading anything other than trashy romance novels and an occasional book on how to get my kids to behave better. I have also been focusing on my marriage and reading up on how to be a better wife. You can see that reflected in the non-fiction area.
