I have a hard time cleaning! It is not that I like (or have) a dirty house; it is simply that I have a hard time finding the time to clean. Sometimes my daily task is not completed due to the events of the day.
To make it easier, I have broken up each task and assigned it a day of the week or bi-monthly. I like the visual this board gives me instead of writing each day in my planner. My life coach, Diana Kerr encourages me to break things up into manageable pieces, that way I can accomplish my plans for the day and gain a sense of completion. I encourage you to do the same thing. It is so important to feel like you have completed something during the day.
I appreciate that feeling because as a stay at home working mother, I feel like there are several tasks, like dishes or laundry, that are never done. At the end of the day, feeling like I have made progress is necessary. Someone said that things are truly never done, but it is a matter of getting them done enough for you. Breaking up the work and allowing for certain tasks to be complete every day brings a great sense of accomplishment for the day.
How do you feel accomplished at the end of your day?
